The iconic Dr. Martens 8-eye 1460 boot, born on April 1st, 1960, has become a timeless classic over the past six decades. This boot is crafted from 100% Leather, with a Synthetic sole, and is either made in the USA or Imported.
The Softy T leather used in this boot is a lightweight, full-grain leather with a soft and supple feel. It can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth and maintained with Dr. Martens Shoe Polish. The boot retains all the classic Dr. Martens DNA, including grooved sides, a heel-loop, and yellow stitching.
The iconic air-cushioned sole, which is oil and fat resistant and offers excellent abrasion and slip resistance, is the foundation of this boot. It was the first Dr. Martens boot and remains true to the original design, but borrows style elements from the 14-eye 1914 Vonda.
One of the standout features of this boot is the tonal embroidered detailing, with black embroidered flowers cascading down the side of the boot, designed exclusively by Dr. Martens' in-house creatives.
